Tour of cooper's mill

On March 3, 2016 a group of 10 professionals journeyed to Bucyrus, Ohio to learn about Cooper's Mill Apple Butter and Jelly and take a tour of their factory and store.

Attendees learned that the company uses all natural ingredients including real fruit, sugar and pectin in it's jellies. The Apple Butter process starts with cooking the whole apple and then straining off the sauce to be cooked the old fashion way over a hard wood fire.

The Cooper's Mill store carries the company's products and a wide variety of other unique products that you might not find in a normal chain grocery store. The store's deli carriers a wide variety of Amish meats and cheeses. Box lunches can be ordered for catering with pick up or local delivery available.

Purchased from the founding owners about 3 years ago, Cooper's Mill has become a good complimentary business for owners Jason and Justin McMullen who also own and operate Crossroads Candles.
